Renewing Affirmation Meditation

FUN FACT: This meditation pairs perfectly with Lemon essential oil! You can put a drop on the bottoms of your feet, or rub together in your hands and inhale, or if you would prefer, add it to your diffuser that is near by to where you will be meditating. 

You can do this meditation daily, even if you only have a good 5 minutes on hand. Follow this here on paper, or you can follow along and listen to the guided audio version below.

 

Please make yourself comfortable by either lying down, sitting in a chair, or on a supportive pillow on the floor. Before we being our affirmations, let us close our eyes and start with 3 deep breaths. If you are working with an essential oil, and have put the essential oil in your hands, you can cup them over your nose during these three breath cycles.

 

When we take these deep breaths, Breathe deeply down into your belly. Feel your belly expand as you inhale... and your body relax and soften on the exhale. Take a deep inhale through the nose... and a nice audible exhale through the mouth. Another deep breath through the nose... and slowly exhale through the mouth. One last deep inhale through the nose, and release. When you need to, return to this cycle of breath, and know that you are safe here in this space.

You are welcome to repeat the following affirmations out loud or silently.

  • I am restored.
  • I am focused and mentally connected.
  • I am alert and aware of my surroundings.
  • I am joyful and radiant.
  • I feel my body’s constant state of energy.
  • I let go and cleanse myself of my limiting beliefs.
  • I am ready to live my purpose.
  • I finish what I started.
  • I allow myself to speak my truths and my stories.
  • I am naturally playful, and connected with my inner child.
  • I am one with the highest version of myself.
  • I am divine energy.
  • I am love.
  • I trust and accept myself.
  • I am thoughtful and intelligent.
  • I see with perfect clarity of vision.

Take a moment to bring yourself back to your breath... and connect. Breathe deeply through the nose, and exhale through the mouth. Breathing down deep into your belly, and letting it all go. One more deep breath in, and a nice slow exhale. Bring yourself back to where you are physically, lying down, or seated. Wiggle your toes, feel the air on your skin, and the environment around you. You can always come back to this moment of empowerment and relaxation.
